Unique Uses & Unique Applications
Rolligon
Problem: Rolligon needed a small number of big, panel overlays for their international fleet of trucks working in extreme conditions. The problem was threefold:
- Choosing the right printing process. The customer needed something economical and durable.
- Producing a small number of items.
- Assembling the printed items onto a stainless steel panel which would then be attached to the truck exterior.
Solution:
- Make a durable, cost effective product by printing digitally on LexanŽ instead of using silk screen technology.
- Drake Industries specializes in prototypes - we don't require any minimums. Printing one, five or five hundred pieces is always possible.
- Perform the work of mounting the product onto the customer's stainless steel panels.
We continue to provide these services to Rolligon as well as produce gauges and switches that are mounted in the dash boards of their trucks.

Terry Tools
Problem: Terry Tools needed their company name and contact details to be printed on a small, metal pipe cutter. The printing had to be durable as the pipe cutter would be handled frequently.
Solution: We modified some equipment and now print regular, small runs for Terry Tools. |

Temptronics
Problem: Temptronics needed a fail proof way to show workers how to reposition a part once a machine was taken out of a shipping crate.
Solution: Make a picture tag that shows how to assemble their product pictorially. After assembly the tag is discarded. The picture tag is a unique product and one that many of our competitors could not produce. We continue to produce this item for Temptronics. |
